Who do you provide therapy for?
- I offer therapy for adults (18+) and teens (13–18) with full parental consent
- Members of the LGBTQ+ community are always welcome in this space
How long are therapy sessions?
- Individual therapy sessions are 60 minutes long
- There is an option for extended appointments based on your needs
Where is your practice located?
- My home office is centrally located in midtown Toronto, near the Annex, Forest Hill, Hillcrest, and Yorkdale
- About 10-minute or less walking distance from the Eglinton West subway station.
What are your fees?
- For a 60-minute session, fees are based on a sliding scale: $100 to $150—you choose.
- Extended sessions of 90 minutes or 2 hours are also available.
How do I pay for my sessions?
- Payment is accepted via e-transfer or PayPal.
- Payment should arrive before each session for direct deposit.
- If a session does not take place, you will receive a refund.
Is therapy covered by insurance?
- Many insurance providers recognize treatment from Registered Psychotherapists (RPs).
- I am licensed with the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario (CRPO), registration #001299—please check with your insurer to confirm coverage

What’s the difference between psychotherapists, psychologists, psychiatrists and social workers?
- Psychotherapists are trained to provide therapy for mental and emotional issues on a personal level, for individuals, families and groups. The therapy usually involves talking.
- Psychologists: have a PhD in psychology, and also diagnose and treat mental illness. But in Ontario, psychologists may not prescribe drugs or medications (unless they also are also medical doctors).
- Psychiatrists: medical doctors who diagnose and treat people with mental illness, who are qualified to prescribe drugs or medication to help ease suffering and/or symptoms.
- Social Workers: provide a wide range of services (often very practical) to help people and communities resolve problems at various stages of their lives.
What is Gestalt therapy?
- Gestalt therapy is a holistic and experiential approach that integrates everything about you — body, mind, emotions, spirit, social and cultural environment, and your aspirations.
- Gestalt emphasizes awareness in the present moment.
- Gestalt is relational, using the therapist-client relationship to explore personal experiences and encourage growth — a process in which you and your therapist collaborate.
- Gestalt and can include humor as part of healing.
- Originally developed by Fritz and Laura Perls in the 1950s, Gestalt therapy has evolved with influences from Gestalt psychology, psychoanalysis, holism, existentialism, dream interpretation, body language and psychodrama.
How do you define mental and emotional health?
- Mental health is overall psychological well-being, including thinking, coping, decision-making and resilience.
- Emotional health is the ability to understand, manage, regulate and express emotions effectively.
- Both are vital for well-being.
